About Us

Amilla embodies a philosophy and lifestyle

we are maldivian

Discover the real Maldives. Amilla is authentically Maldivian, our passion is to uplift with musical and artistic talent, reveal local culinary delights and present genuine cultural experiences.

We opened our island in 2014, as an independent 5-star luxury resort owned by Maldivians and with experienced hoteliers who desired to create an island of surprises. The island scape features far fewer villas and residences, which translates to idyllic, untouched scenery and more space to play, relax and explore.

a naturally lush island paradise

The Snapper and Fusilier reefs, bustling with wildlife, cradle the heartbeat of the Indian Ocean. Wander amongst sea almonds, screwpines and thousands of mature coconut trees. Bathe in the floral aroma and explosions of colour from hibiscus, bougainvillea and frangipani blooms.
